The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS is widely regarded as one of the most successful large cruising yachts of her era, combining excellent sailing performance with the comfort and light of a true deck saloon design. Freespirit is a particularly appealing example, finished with the highly desirable flag blue hull and benefiting from careful ownership throughout her life. Significantly, she has had only three private owners from new, with each owner having known the next, giving the boat an unusually traceable and well-connected ownership history. Designed by Philippe Briand with interiors by Garroni, the 50 DS offers a spacious and welcoming layout, with a raised saloon providing panoramic views and excellent natural light. The three-cabin layout offers generous accommodation, including a well-appointed owner’s cabin and two comfortable guest cabins, making her ideally suited to family cruising or extended periods aboard.
