The Hunter 44 DS is configured as a private-use cruising yacht with a raised deck salon that provides spacious accommodation and good visibility. Its Yanmar 4JH3F diesel engine delivers 42 kW, with oil and filter changes carried out every 200 hours. The yacht has been stored ashore under cover during winter and has Sea-Jet antifouling applied in spring.

Recent and practical equipment includes a 300 Ah Eco-Worthy lithium battery, 400 W solar panels on a solid solar arch, and a Mastervolt battery charger. A bow thruster with a new leg is fitted, while the anchor windlass has been serviced. The sails and standing rigging are approximately five years old, and the sprayhood is two years old.
