Van Rijnsoever Vollenhovense Bol "Bolle Babbe" – A Timeless Classic Full of Character

Built in 2003, this remarkable vessel is one of the last Vollenhovense Bols delivered by the renowned Van Rijnsoever shipyard. With her classic lines, warm appearance and high-quality craftsmanship, she offers a unique combination of traditional Dutch boatbuilding and modern cruising comfort.

With an overall length of 8.50 metres, a beam of 3.10 metres and a shallow draft of only 0.75 metres, this Vollenhovense Bol is perfectly suited for exploring the inland waterways of the Netherlands and Belgium, the Wadden Sea, the waters of Zeeland and other shallow cruising areas. Thanks to her leeboards and flat-bottom hull, she offers excellent drying-out capabilities while retaining the distinctive sailing characteristics for which this type of vessel is so highly regarded.

On deck, her classic appearance immediately catches the eye. The combination of the black-painted hull, red superstructure and warm wooden accents creates a particularly attractive and traditional look. The saloon features comfortable settees and a practical table, while the forward cabin offers sleeping accommodation for two persons. In addition, the yacht is equipped with a galley featuring a two-burner gas stove, a manual toilet, hot water and a Webasto hot-air heating system. A generous headroom of approximately 1.85 metres further enhances onboard comfort.

Propulsion is provided by a reliable and economical Volvo Penta MD2030 diesel engine producing 27 hp. Well known for its durability, this engine delivers ample power for harbour manoeuvres and comfortable cruising under power. The starting battery was renewed in 2025. Furthermore, the vessel is equipped with shore power, a battery charger, VHF radio, Raymarine speed log and depth sounder.
