The most defining feature of the LM 27 is its semi-enclosed pilothouse / wheelhouse. This allows you to steer via a traditional wooden wheel under solid cover during foul weather. However, it retains an open back leading to the cockpit, which can be fully closed using a canvas cockpit tent.
