LAGOON 420 - THE BLUEWATER CRUISING CATAMARAN, READY TO CAST OFF

Built by Lagoon in 2008, the 420 established itself as a benchmark in offshore cruising catamarans. Generous volumes, a saloon on the same level as the cockpit and a dedicated flybridge helm station: this 12.61 m multihull was designed for long-term living aboard, with family or crew, without compromising on comfort or safety at sea.

Construction and seakeeping
GRP - fibreglass hull and deck, 12.61 m overall, 7.53 m beam and just 1.30 m draft: an ideal combination for offshore passages and for anchoring close to the beach. With a displacement of 12,800 kg, the 420 delivers the stability expected of a true cruising catamaran while retaining the shallow draft that opens up the most sheltered spots.

Power and range
Twin YANMAR 4JH4TCE 75 HP engines handle manoeuvring and passages, with 4,400 hours recorded. At a cruising speed of 7 knots, consumption is 2 l/h. Tankage is sized for long-distance cruising: 600 litres of fuel and 700 litres of fresh water. Below, 4 cabins and 8 berths, with the vessel certified for up to 12 people.
