2011 Barkas 1000 Classic, 195.000 EUR

The Barkas 1000 Classic is a solidly built Dutch steel motor yacht from 2011, built by Keikes Jachtbouw in Sneek to a design by Ing. L.M. Huitema. With her practical dimensions, comfortable layout and distinctive appearance, she is well suited for both extended stays on board and longer cruising trips.

A great deal of attention has been paid to comfort and ease of use on board. The yacht features hydraulic steering from both the inside and outside helm stations and is equipped with a 10 hp electric Nobels bow thruster. The wheelhouse offers a pleasant living area with dinette, galley and inside helm station. Below deck there is a combined shower and toilet compartment, an open double berth beneath the saloon and an owner’s cabin in the bow with a double V-berth, providing four fixed berths in total.

The galley is equipped with an electric two-burner Inventum cooktop, combination oven/microwave and a Dometic refrigerator with freezer compartment. Additional comfort is provided by underfloor heating, a Kickspace heater, air conditioning and a 40-litre Webasto water heater.

The yacht is also extensively equipped from a technical point of view. The electrical installation includes a Victron Quattro 3000 VA inverter/charger, a Fisher Panda 4000i generator, a 120 A alternator and two solar panels with a combined output of approximately 360 W. Navigation equipment includes Raymarine instruments, Koden GPS, Class A AIS, Standard Horizon VHF and an onboard HP computer that can be used as a chartplotter and communicates with a display at the outside helm station.

Deck equipment includes an electric Vetus anchor windlass, a new 30 kg stainless steel anchor with approximately 50 metres of new galvanised anchor chain, stainless steel guardrails, an integrated swimming platform with synthetic teak, a folding swimming ladder and a new beige bimini.

In addition to her extensive equipment, the yacht underwent a professional refit in 2025. The hull received three new coats of paint and new antifouling was applied in 2026. After the painting work, a new rubber rubbing strake was fitted around the yacht. All windows were removed and reinstalled with new sealing. The double-glazed windows in aluminium frames contribute to a comfortable stay on board.

Furthermore, the ceilings were completely renewed and fitted with dimmable LED lighting. A large part of the hoses was also replaced, while various parts of the electrical installation and several electrical components were renewed.

Thanks to the combination of her comfortable layout, extensive technical equipment and the many works carried out in recent years, this Barkas 1000 Classic is a complete and well-maintained motor yacht, ready for many more cruising seasons.
