De Windbuyl is a real head turner designed by H. Lunstroo and based on the lines of classic wooden fishing boats in Ijselmeer.

She sails very well and is at the same time roomy and comfortable. 2021 the 18 hp engine was replaced with a 3-cylinder 36 hp Bukh - new shaft, propeller, 5x80 amp batteries and smart-charger. New mast 2012 - pt. in indoor storage. 2023 the teak deck and cabin top was renovated including new caulking.

Equipment includes diesel heater, new gas stove, charger, fridge, pressurised water (hot and cold), wc, winch for anchor and mast - new seating in cabin and top quality madras in the front. Winter cover is present but very old, heavy and in need of repair/replacement.

Due to ill health the boat has not been looked properly after for the last couple of years, and it is therefore to some degree a "project" since it calls for a fair bit of maintenance. Worth mentioning is rusty spots i the top railing - but no other serious issues, that can't easily be fixed.

The boats condition is reflected in the price - very much so I should think. When in ship shape condition the boat is a real beauty. It takes a bit of love and care to bring her back to former glory - but not a lot of money. So what you get is a hidden gem at half price.
