A stunning keelboat with a beautiful, classic hull shape. Yngling NED-242 was built by Portier AG in Switzerland. The boat is in good condition; the hull is free of osmosis and rust, and is protected by self-polishing antifouling.
We are selling our beloved boat due to a relocation. It is excellent for solo sailing, yet also serves as a delightful cruising boat for the family.
Featuring its original deep cockpit and wooden floorboards, it is ideal for cruising, offering sleeping accommodations for two people. It is a sporty vessel equipped with a racing rig (original measurement certificate included).
In light winds, the Yngling sails relatively fast—despite the fact that the boat is technically "under-rigged" (has a relatively small sail area). Thanks to this modest sail area, the Yngling can handle strong winds with ease.
That said, with sufficient wind, the vessel is capable of planing when sailing with the large spinnaker.
This year, the boat received new halyards (for the mainsail and jib), new sheets, and an upgraded rudder stock.
Included is a braked road trailer with its own license plate, riding on tires that are still in good condition.
Also included is a reliable Honda 4-stroke outboard motor mounted on a stainless steel bracket.
