This X-402 offers accommodation for cruising with three double cabins, a single head and a spacious saloon/dinette. The galley is equipped with a two-burner stove and refrigerator, while the interior dinette cushions were renewed in 2024. Outside, the cockpit has seating cushions renewed in 2025, a table and an awning cover. The deck is finished with Kiwi anti-slip coating, and the guardrails were replaced in 2015.

The yacht’s navigation and onboard systems include a Simrad chartplotter, GPS, echo sounder, log and wind station, together with Tacktick wireless repeaters. Two Autohelm autopilots are fitted, including a complete backup system, and a portable GPS chartplotter is also available as backup. Communications and audio equipment comprise VHF, a radio system and internal speakers. Additional equipment includes a 220V battery charger, pressurized freshwater system and a windlass with renewed electric motor.

Recent technical work covers a complete steering-system disassembly and overhaul, replacement and alignment of the engine mounts, replacement of the turbine, starter motor and water pump, and cleaning of the heat exchanger. The engine components underwent a complete overhaul in 2026. Structural work included complete hull stripping and sandblasting, followed by hull repainting with seven coats of Gelshield osmosis protection treatment; the bulb also received re-resination and Gelshield treatment. A MaxProp three-blade propeller dated 2026 is fitted, and all seacocks were replaced in 2019.
