Great spec Solaris 64 RS available for immediate delivery, including a 12-month factory warranty. Easily handled in-boom furling rig with 3-cabin, 3-heads plus crew interior layout, finished in luxurious Burma teak.

FURTHER BROKER’S COMMENTS:

Delivered in 2022 as hull No. 11 ‘FREETIME 6’ is a fantastic example of the Solaris 64 RS, presented in extraordinary condition and covered by an official shipyard warranty for one year.

The interior is marvellously configured with Burma Teak, featuring three cabins and three en-suite heads. The raised saloon, in addition to providing a remarkable view and brightness, allows for the accommodation of systems, tanks, and the engine beneath the saloon floorboards. This results in several advantages: lower and central weights for exceptional wave behaviour, quieter systems away from the cabins, and, not least, more available space aft, allowing for separate shower boxes in the aft bathrooms.

Currently, the forward cabin is equipped with three bunk beds and access from the interior. However, it can be converted upon request into a traditional separate crew cabin with an en-suite head.

The boom furling mainsail, the furling jib, and the code 0 roller furling are all electric, as are the five 80 Harken winches: this makes it easy even with a reduced crew to manage the boat while sailing. The deck equipment is all oversized and top-notch. Noteworthy is the large tender garage (equipped with an electric winch) that allows for the longitudinal storage of a dinghy up to three meters.

Her specification highlights include:-
Raised saloon cabin profile
Three cabin, three heads interior layout finished in upgraded Burma teak and with additional cabin in forepeak

MANUFACTURER’S COMMENTS:
A new model from the drawing board of Soto Acebal … the Solaris 64 RS.

She represents an extremely innovative yacht in the performance cruising world, featuring a raised saloon with 360 degree windows for better panoramic views and a central engine room with two aft cabins isolated from any noise from the machinery and systems.

The innovation begins with the interior layout which provides a large sail locker in the bow, which can be also be specified as an optional ensuite crew cabin. A spacious owner’s cabin forward, with generous storage, available with either an island or an outboard bed. The galley is located close to the mast and extends across the full beam of the boat.

The wide saloon features the companionway off-set to starboard, which provides one big passage way to the guest cabins, all en-suites have separate full height shower compartments. In terms of size and storage volumes the two guest cabins have nothing to envy to the owner’s cabin forward. The 3 meter long tender garage, with longitudinal access, does not intrude in the aft cabins at all.

The off-set entrance creates a spacious cockpit with a fixed table to the portside and a deck sofa to starboard side with a passageway in between.

The sail handling area of the cockpit features a central plinth dedicated to the mainsheet and two side winches.

The modern hull lines sport a wide stern with twin rudders and subtle dreadnought bow. The “T”-shaped keel offers two fixed draught options plus a lifting keel which does not intrude into the interior.

SPECIFICATION
CONSTRUCTION

RCD Status:
The yacht is built to CE Boat Category A-ocean.

Hull Deck & Superstructure Construction:
Hull and deck are in sandwich construction of uni- and bidirectional fiberglass fibres.
This kind of structure gives a light hull which is, however, far more resistant to dynamic stress and is far more rigid than a plain laminate construction.
Airex core, an expanded closed-cell vinyl polychloride preventing moisture from expanding into the construction in case of a damaged section.
Vacuum system is used for gluing of the sandwich to hull and deck.
Where needed carbon reinforcements will be applied, at the chainplates, stringers, beams and the keel structure, and in the high load areas the core will be replaced with higher density foam or plywood.
The strength of laminates conform to the designer's specifications and are regularly controlled by their competent technical departments.
The transversal and longitudinal reinforcements of the hull are made in composite and well laminated to the hull according to the calculated dimensions.
The waterline is painted with polyurethane varnish.
The fore, mast and aft bulkheads are in composite. All others are in plywood and will be well laminated to both hull and deck. This kind of construction guarantees a greater stiffness than the silicone bonding and represents a uniqueness of the Yard.
All visible hull and deck surfaces are in high quality white gelcoat.
10mm teak laid side decks, coachroof, cockpit seating and bathing platform with grey caulking
Carbon dolphin striker integrated into the hull for gennaker and Code 0 with anchor integrated.
Hull epoxy treatment with 5 coats of Gelshield
2x additional Solimar hatches on the deck
Additional portholes in the aft cabins

Keel & Rudder:
The 3.30m-draft torpedo bulb keel is designed and built for high speeds and guarantees performance and stability.
The keel ballast is made of lead /antimony.
The keel fin is made of Weldox steel construction, which is attached to the hull by stainless steel bolts.
The keel is treated and protected by epoxy products
Twin balanced rudders with stainless steel rudder shafts
