1989 Moody 425, 80 000 EUR

This Moody 425 has been continuously maintained and upgraded, with no reported structural repairs or known osmosis or blistering. The engine and gearbox were replaced in 2011 with a 54 HP Yanmar, which has approximately 5000 hours and is regularly maintained by Yanmar. The standing rigging was replaced in 2013 and inspected by a Kemp-approved technician in 2023. Wintering has consistently been carried out ashore.

Accommodation and onboard comfort include new upholstery, extensive teak carpentry finished with seven coats of International varnish, and a galley with a new oven and cooker, Corian worktops, new refrigerator, freezer and an additional small refrigerator. A 16000 BTU air-conditioning system and watermaker producing approximately 50 litres/hour are also installed. Deck hatches and windows were replaced in 2022.

The equipment inventory includes Raymarine chartplotter, autopilot and radar, AIS, Icom SSB and VHF, and an EPIRB. Electrical equipment comprises 500 Ah domestic and 180 Ah engine battery banks, Sterling alternator-to-battery management, a new Victron 50 A shore charger, a Victron 700 W inverter and three solar panels. The sailing inventory includes a 2014 mainsail, restitched staysail, two genoas, drifter and lightly used spinnaker. A 10 ft aluminium RIB with a 6 HP Yamaha outboard, life raft, Mason Supreme anchor, Danforth spare and approximately 100 m of 10 mm chain are included. EU VAT is not paid.
