The Snowgoose Elite is the ultimate evolution of the definitive cruising catamaran. Compared to the standard version, the Elite features a redesigned hull with an increased beam (+1 foot / 30 cm), deeper draft (+2 inches / 5 cm), a taller mast (+5 inches / 13 cm), and a heavier displacement. This results in significantly improved stability, better performance, and superior living comfort.

Unlike standard Prouts with a high-maintenance outdrive leg, "Skot" features a rare, highly reliable setup: a 2015 Craftsman Marine CM 4.42 (42 HP) diesel engine powering a dedicated Volvo Penta hydraulic drive in each hull.
• Handling: Allows the boat to turn on its own length, making tight marina maneuvers incredibly easy.

Significant investments have been made in (technical) upgrades in recent years, ensuring that the mechanical and structural foundation of this 1987 Prout Snowgoose Elite is in excellent condition. Given the vessel's age, there are a few cosmetic areas that require attention. The wall and ceiling linings have loosened in some areas, which presents an ideal opportunity for a new owner to add high-quality insulation material if desired. Additionally, the upper deck paint (including the hardtop and cabin) would benefit from a fresh coat, which can also address the cosmetic (hairline) cracks on the deck and cabin.
