2004 Nautitech 40, EUR 149.000,-

The Nautitech yard is known for the slender hull shape and solid construction of its catamarans, while still offering a comfortable accommodation. The Nautitech 40 is also popular among sailors who enjoy feeling the wind on their face, made possible by the twin helms positioned on the aft corners. From here, the helmsman has excellent visibility of the rig and is not disturbed by what happens in the spacious cockpit. The coachroof, which extends over the cockpit, features a large sliding hatch for those who prefer to sit in the sun.

“Same Same” was collected in France in 2004 by her Danish owner. Ten years later he sailed the yacht to Greece, where he sold her in 2015 to an Italian organisation that spent four years sailing with students from all over the world along the Italian coast from Bari southwards.
The current Dutch owner purchased the catamaran in December 2019 and, between Covid restrictions, adapted her to his preferences with new equipment and navigation electronics, epoxy protection with Finsulate on the hull sections, and other modifications that make mooring in Mediterranean harbours easier.

Due to all these upgrades, “Same Same” has become somewhat heavier and not quite as lively as a new Nautitech 40, especially since the original worn-out headsail was replaced by a slightly smaller jib from a Dragonfly trimaran.
This Nautitech 40 is for sale in the southwest Netherlands, after a few final repairs.

Il cantiere Nautitech è famoso per la forma slanciata dello scafo e la solida costruzione dei suoi catamarani, che offrono comunque alloggi confortevoli. Il Nautitech 40 è molto apprezzato anche dai velisti che amano sentire il vento sul viso, grazie alle due postazioni di timoneria posizionate agli angoli di poppa. Da qui, il timoniere ha un’ottima visibilità sull’alberatura e non viene disturbato da ciò che accade nell’ampio pozzetto. Il tetto di coperta, che si estende sopra il pozzetto, è dotato di un grande portello scorrevole per chi preferisce stare al sole.

“Same Same” è stato ritirato in Francia nel 2004 dal suo armatore danese. Dieci anni dopo ha portato lo yacht in Grecia, dove nel 2015 l’ha venduto a un’organizzazione italiana che ha trascorso quattro anni navigando con studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo lungo la costa italiana, da Bari verso sud.
L’attuale proprietario olandese ha acquistato il catamarano nel dicembre 2019 e, tra una restrizione Covid e l’altra, l’ha adattato alle sue preferenze con nuove attrezzature ed elettronica di navigazione, protezione epossidica con Finsulate sulle sezioni dello scafo e altre modifiche che facilitano l’ormeggio nei porti del Mediterraneo.

A causa di tutti questi miglioramenti, “Same Same” è diventato un po’ più pesante e non proprio vivace come un Nautitech 40 nuovo, soprattutto perché la vela di prua originale, ormai logora, è stata sostituita da un fiocco leggermente più piccolo proveniente da un trimarano Dragonfly.
Questo Nautitech 40 è in vendita nel sud-ovest dei Paesi Bassi, dopo alcune riparazioni finali.
