1977 Huitema Zeeschouw 800, EUR 14.500

This Huitema Zeeschouw 800 from 1977 is a well-maintained and fully equipped flat-bottomed boat for traditional sailing enthusiasts. The boat is in good condition and was repainted in a 1-component paint system in 2023, showing that it has been carefully maintained over the years. The zeeschouw is equipped with a reliable Volvo Penta diesel engine and has a complete sail wardrobe, including a jib boom and jib. The woodwork is also worth mentioning: the spars, rudder, swords, and other woodwork in the cockpit are well varnished and give the boat a tidy appearance. There is ample comfort on board for longer stays and extensive sailing trips. In the front, there is a separate sleeping cabin with a double bed and an extra single bed. In addition, the dinette can easily be converted into an additional double berth, providing enough space for family or guests. The boat is stored in a covered boathouse both in summer and winter, contributing to its good condition. This zeeschouw is ideally suited for the shallow Dutch inland waters and for beaching on the Wadden Sea, where a flat-bottomed boat like this truly shines. Additionally, the boat is registered in the Register of Round and Flat-bottomed Yachts under number 1099, making it particularly appealing to enthusiasts of classic Dutch vessels. The current owner is the daughter of the first owner. Due to the growth of the family, it has been decided to part ways with this special boat. An honest, well-maintained zeeschouw with a rich history, ready for a new owner who appreciates traditional sailing.
