Yacht for the discerning buyer!

If you want to venture a bit further than the local bay, this boat is A-class rated, approved for offshore/ocean-going use.

The Fleming 55 is regarded as one of the most well-balanced and seaworthy long-distance yachts in its class — a pilothouse design that has remained nearly unchanged since 1986, simply because it was built right from the very beginning. This 2007 model (launched in 2008), hull no. 55-182, has been meticulously maintained and extensively upgraded since being imported to Norway in 2019 by the current owner. The boat has been stored indoors in a heated hall every winter, and the condition reflects it — this is a Fleming 55 that is significantly better equipped and in better condition than most on the market, almost regardless of model year.

A substantial number of hours and resources have gone into modernizing the electronics, maneuvering systems, and comfort features, while the boat's original qualities — the low profile, the quiet semi-displacement hull, and the classic pilothouse layout — have been preserved and enhanced.

Hull, Engine and Propulsion

Twin Cummins QSC/QSB 8.3, 500 hp — original engines, fully serviced
Veem 5-blade propeller for reduced vibration and improved efficiency (original 4-blade propellers also included)
Modified trim plane for improved thruster performance aft
Upgraded to new hydraulic stabilizers — Sleipner Vector Fins, considered the most effective stabilizer system on the market today
Upgraded thrusters to Sleipner eVision with Hold function — pushes the boat sideways against the dock, allowing the boat to actually dock itself unassisted
Dockmate DP positioning system with wireless remote control — locks the boat in a chosen position before docking, plus remote low-speed boat control, an important aid for those wishing to handle the boat without extra crew
Delta/Ultra Marine stainless steel anchor forward

This is a Fleming 55 where the owner has gone through every nook and cranny systematically — from the engine room to the electronics, from the maneuvering systems to the smallest interior details. The result is a boat that combines Fleming's legendary seaworthiness and quiet comfort with a modern, updated technical platform and significantly improved maneuvering equipment that makes the boat easier to handle — even single-handed.

This offers an extraordinary amount of boat for the money — for reference, a new Fleming 55 today costs approximately NOK 40,000,000.

For those less familiar with Fleming boats, we recommend visiting the shipyard's website, as well as video material about the boats on YouTube, among other sources.
