Volvo Joystick Control Available – Enhanced comfort is provided not only by the extensive list of optional equipment, such as the extended, teak laid bathing platform, the large T-top with integrated glass panels, the hydraulic, stainless steel anchor system with chain counter at the helm station and the power inverter supplying 220V without the need to run a generator, but also by the Volvo manoeuvring joystick for the IPS500 drives. “Somatina” is powered by two Volvo D6 IPS diesel engines, each delivering 370 HP, and features a Volvo manoeuvring joystick, making docking effortless. With a comfortable cruising speed of approximately 26 knots at around 2,500 rpm, the combined fuel consumption is approximately 100 l/h. A top speed of an impressive 38 knots makes this Fjord 40 a remarkably fast open cruiser. Forward, the generously sized bow sun pad, also fitted with an easily deployable sun awning above, offers a perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying beautiful summer evenings with panoramic 360-degree views.

Below deck, the accommodation comprises a bathroom and the spacious full-beam owner’s cabin forward with a double bed and ample storage capacity for extended voyages.

The berth in Marina Cala d’Or, Mallorca, is available for transfer by rental agreement.
