NAUTICAT 40 – CLASSIC QUALITY YACHT, RARELY OFFERED FOR SALE

Please note: The price of the boat has recently been adjusted to reflect an allowance for necessary repairs and remedial work.

It is rare to see a Nauticat 40 offered for sale – and when one does come onto the market, it attracts attention from both experienced long-distance sailors and those who dream of life on the water. This solid and elegant motorsailer, built by the renowned Finnish shipyard Siltala Yachts, is an outstanding example of Scandinavian quality, craftsmanship and design at its best.

The Nauticat 40 was designed to handle both open-sea passages and relaxing coastal cruising. At the same time, it is equally well suited as a luxurious liveaboard yacht, offering everything needed for comfortable year-round living. This model combines the best qualities of a sailing yacht and a motor yacht, making it an ideal choice for those seeking freedom, flexibility and a high level of comfort – both underway and in harbour.

On deck, the yacht impresses with its generous space and well-thought-out layout. There is plenty of room for relaxing in the sun, enjoying lunch outdoors or working safely under sail. The high, solid guardrails and robust construction provide a reassuring sense of security – even when conditions become challenging. It is clear that the Nauticat 40 was built to undertake extended voyages with confidence and peace of mind.

The large and bright pilothouse is the heart of the yacht. It features a spacious corner sofa from which you can enjoy the passage or simply watch life in the harbour, with panoramic 360-degree views through the large windows. A large opening skylight provides fresh air and natural sunlight. The helm station is equipped to a standard normally associated with much larger yachts, including a navigation table and a comprehensive instrument panel, giving the skipper excellent visibility and full control.

Below deck, the feeling of space and quality continues. The longitudinal galley to port is practical and well equipped with a three-burner gas cooker, gas oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stainless-steel sink and pressurised hot and cold water. Everything is conveniently within reach, making the galley ideal for preparing meals both in harbour and while underway.

Opposite the galley, there is additional worktop space and ample storage. Forward, the yacht features a cabin with a double berth, generous wardrobe and storage space, and access to toilet and shower facilities. This area is ideal as guest accommodation or as a private sleeping area for children or crew.

Aft is the exclusive Owner’s Cabin – a private suite with a large king-size bed and its own bathroom with toilet and shower. Here, the owner can enjoy maximum comfort and privacy, wherever the journey may lead.

There are many boats on the market, but few are quite like the Nauticat 40. It stands as a symbol of reliability, spaciousness and genuine enjoyment of life at sea. This is a yacht that does more than simply sail – it is designed to carry you safely and comfortably through life’s adventures.

Whether you are looking for a long-distance cruiser, a comfortable liveaboard yacht or a solid, high-quality family yacht, this could be your opportunity.
