Vessel Overview and Sale Details and General Information
GS 45 (German Freres), built in 1995, is homeported in St Jean Cap-Ferrat, France, and sails under the German flag. The vessel’s sole German owner, now aged 82, is offering the boat for sale due to age.
Rigging and Sails
•Cutter rig with mainsail, Yankee, and staysail designed for offshore passages
•Murphy & Nay tri-radial Genoa 150% and Northsail storm-sail kept as reserve
•Harken full-batten mainsail track; jibs furler, vang, and mobile stay

•Hull completely stripped three times, most recently in 2018, with epoxy and antifouling treatment; never osmosis

Backstay tensioner Harken , completely serviced and overhauled in 2014.

•Six bilge pumps: 1 submersible, 3 impeller type, 1 linked to engine raw water pump, 1 manual
•Never involved in accidents; overall condition is excellent
•Original teak deck (2–4 mm) may require replacement

•Furuno 1715 radar; Lowrance chartplotter at helm; AIS receiver with OpenCPN chartplotter

Lowrance Elite 5 chartplotter (2015) at the helm, with NIMEA autopilot interface. Multiplex Raymarine to interface Seatalk and NIMEA and/other a PC cable with USB,. It is possible to connect Seatalk to any PC navigation program. AIS (Comar) with USB - PC cable, separate antenne on the stern. •Radar Furuno 24 miles. EPIRB (Australia) new 2019, not yet expired.
•Fog-horn “Marco” with automatic sending at regular interval. It functions also as loudspeaker
