Damare 49SR (2022) with Mercury 15 hp and trailer – sleek-lined polyester sloop for versatile leisure boating
The Damare 49SR is a modern, compact sloop aimed at comfortable day trips and relaxed cruising on inland waters. This 2022 example combines a contemporary look with practical dimensions: approx. 4.95 metres in length and 2.10 metres in beam. Boating experience and performance with Mercury 15 hp outboard
Mounted on the transom is a 2023 Mercury 15 hp outboard with electric start. With approx. 50 running hours, the engine has seen limited use, and a service was carried out at the beginning of this year (receipt available). In practice, this is a combination that suits the character of the Damare 49SR well: brisk acceleration, easy manoeuvring and relaxed cruising on lakes and rivers. The stated top speed is around 18 km/h, making this sloop suitable for those who want a bit more pace than a classic whisper boat, without it becoming a sports boat.


The fuel system runs on petrol with a total capacity of 24 litres, divided over two 12-litre tanks. This is practical: you can easily swap or take tanks with you, and you maintain a clear overview of consumption during longer trips or a weekend away. Fitted with an engine lock. Comfort on board: canopy, bimini and cockpit layout
