Designed by Gary Mull and built in Belgium by Jachtwerf Vennekens, COOKY combines classic cruising lines with a versatile cutter rig and a welcoming teak interior. This 1984 Kalik 44 offers an appealing layout for extended time aboard, with a private aft owner's cabin, a separate forward double cabin and two heads.
Her cruising history extends from the Netherlands throughout the Mediterranean. Solar charging, Victron battery management, radar, AIS and a below-deck autopilot complement her practical sailing inventory, while a Zodiac tender and Mercury outboard add to the equipment for exploring anchorages.
A 56 hp Yanmar diesel installed in 2003 provides auxiliary power, with engine maintenance carried out through September 2026. Improvements include Seldén rig modernisation in 2007, standing rigging renewed in 2017 and shaft-seal renewal in 2025. Lines led aft, roller furling and an electric winch handle support straightforward sail handling.
Currently ashore in Orei, on the Greek island of Evia, COOKY is offered at €79,500. Her main teak deck requires sanding and re-caulking; further condition notes appear below. Viewings are available by prior appointment through Williams & Smithells International.

COMMENTS
Main teak deck requires sanding and re-caulking.
Headlining in fair condition.
The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
