This 2023 J/45 was lightly used by her first owner, mainly as a daysailer, and is a great opportunity to own a very well-equipped example of this highly capable sailing yacht.
She offers a comfortable three-cabin, two-bathroom layout, with a warm teak interior and white leather upholstery. All toilets are electric, and each cabin is equipped with a USB charging point. An additional refrigerator provides useful extra storage, particularly when spending longer periods on board.

Under sail or at anchor, the J/45 offers an excellent combination of comfort, stability, and performance. The deeper 2.60 m keel, compared with the standard 2.30 m, gives her excellent sailing characteristics and contributes to her stability and performance.
The aluminum mast is complemented by a performance rigging package with Dyneema lines and halyards.
The sail inventory from Olympic Sails includes a furling genoa with self-tacking capability, a fully battened mainsail, and a Code 1. The self-tacking option makes handling particularly easy, whether sailing short-handed or with a full crew.

She is also very well equipped for easy handling and maneuvering. There are four electric winches, a bow thruster, and a Max-Prop folding propeller, providing excellent grip when maneuvering under power. The propeller is paired with the optional upgraded 75 hp engine.

Other highlights include lithium batteries, a swim platform, and synthetic teak in the cockpit and on the swim platform. The two-tone deck has contrasting grey non-slip areas, giving the yacht a clean and modern appearance.

One of the things that really defines the J/45 is the way she feels under sail. She has a remarkably light touch on the helm and is very responsive without ever feeling demanding. The sail controls are easy to reach, making her enjoyable to sail whether you are on your own, with a couple of friends, or with the whole family.

The cockpit is equally well thought out. Secure and protected while sailing offshore, it becomes a very comfortable social space once at anchor, with generous seating, backrests, a large cockpit table, and easy access to the water from the transom. A large companionway sprayhood, connected to an aft bimini, also provides welcome protection from both sun and rain.

The J/45 was designed as a true sailing yacht, built for sailors who want to combine genuine sailing performance with the comfort needed for extended cruising. This example brings together that performance with a particularly high level of equipment, making her equally suited to relaxed coastal sailing, longer passages, or simply enjoying a day on the water.
