Designed back in 1985 by the renowned Danish designer Lars Oudrup, this *micro-race-class* design sails faster than the wind and easily reaches over 20 knots. The My-Cat was convincing in all comparative races, e.g. round fyn race (140 miles) 1986, 87, 89 & 92. The slim hulls with U-frame are made of full laminate in the underwater sections and as a sandwich above the waterline. The mast beam is made of vinylesther full laminate, the fore and aft beams are made of aluminium mast profiles. The aft beam is equipped with a traveller across the entire width. With attached rudders and centreboards, the my-cat sails in a balanced manner and can be steered like a dinghy with two fingers. Thanks to the self-tacking jib, it can be turned easily and without any problems, allowing it to tack effectively even in narrow waters. The cat can be dismantled by 2 people and can therefore be trailered. A racer that is suitable for touring and which, thanks to its outstanding performance, makes it possible to achieve impressive distances. Excellent light wind characteristics. From 15 knots of wind it gets lively on board and the trampoline gets wet. The German owner is decided to give up sailing and is offering his my-cat in good condition for inspection and takeover, ready to be towed away on licensed road-trailer in Northern Germany.

Progettata nel 1985 dal famoso designer danese Lars Oudrup, questa imbarcazione della *classe micro-race* naviga più veloce del vento e raggiunge facilmente oltre i 20 nodi. Il My-Cat si è dimostrato vincente in tutte le regate comparative, ad esempio la Round Fyn Race (140 miglia) del 1986, 1987, 1989 e 1992. Gli scafi slanciati con telaio a U sono realizzati in laminato pieno nelle sezioni sommerse e in sandwich sopra la linea di galleggiamento. La trave dell'albero è in laminato pieno di vinilestere, mentre le travi di prua e di poppa sono realizzate con profili in alluminio. La trave di poppa è dotata di un traveller che copre l'intera larghezza. Grazie ai timoni e alle derive fissi, il My-Cat naviga in modo equilibrato e può essere governato come una deriva con due dita. Grazie al fiocco autovirante, si vira facilmente e senza problemi, consentendo di virare efficacemente anche in acque strette. Il catamarano può essere smontato da 2 persone e può quindi essere trasportato su un rimorchio. Un regatante adatto al turismo che, grazie alle sue prestazioni eccezionali, permette di percorrere distanze impressionanti. Ottime caratteristiche con vento leggero. A partire da 15 nodi di vento, a bordo si fa vivace e il trampolino si bagna. Il proprietario tedesco ha deciso di smettere di andare in barca a vela e offre il suo My-Cat in buone condizioni per un sopralluogo e la consegna, pronto per essere trainato su un rimorchio stradale omologato nel nord della Germania.
