The Dufour 40 Performance is an excellent sailor that both more sporty sailors and families can handle excellently.

Due to its sporty sailing characteristics, there are few ships of this size with comparable sailing qualities and comfortable interior. The cockpit is spacious and equipped with good ergonomics, the mainsheet and traveler are within reach from the large steering wheel, and with the Raymarine autopilot below deck, shorthanded sailing is easily manageable. The seats provide good back support and all lines run over the deck to the cockpit. The side decks have good non-slip thanks to the neat teak deck, and under the boom there is a display for the more sporty sailor and readable for the crew.

The interior is spacious and bright thanks to the beautiful white leather upholstery and natural light. On the port side, the L-shaped galley with top loader fridge, 2-burner stove with oven, and double sink. On the other side is the wet room with electric toilet and navigation corner with various built-in features. The cozy seating area with foldable dining table provides a free passage to the bow where the "owners cabin" with en-suite wet room is located. In the aft cabins, there are 2 double beds with bookshelves and hanging/wardrobe.

Il Dufour 40 Performance è una barca eccezionale, perfetta sia per i velisti più sportivi che per le famiglie. Grazie alle sue caratteristiche velistiche sportive, ci sono poche imbarcazioni di queste dimensioni con qualità di navigazione simili e interni così confortevoli.

Il pozzetto è spazioso e ben progettato dal punto di vista ergonomico: dal grande timone, il cavo di scotta e la scotta grande sono a portata di mano e, grazie all’autopilota Raymarine sotto coperta, è facile navigare anche con un equipaggio ridotto. I sedili offrono un buon sostegno per la schiena e tutte le cime scorrono sul ponte fino al pozzetto. I passavanti sono ben antiscivolo grazie al bel ponte in teak e sotto il boma c’è un display per i velisti più sportivi, ben visibile anche all’equipaggio.

L’interno è spazioso e luminoso grazie ai bellissimi rivestimenti in pelle bianca e alla luce naturale. A babordo c’è la cucina a L con frigorifero a caricamento dall’alto, fornello a 2 fuochi con forno e doppio lavello. Dall’altra parte c’è il bagno con WC elettrico e un angolo di navigazione dotato di vari elettrodomestici da incasso.
L’accogliente salottino con tavolo da pranzo ribaltabile offre un passaggio libero verso la prua, dove si trova la “cabina armatoriale” con bagno privato.
Nelle cabine di poppa ci sono 2 letti matrimoniali dotati di mensola per libri e armadi appendiabiti/a ripiani.
