A spacious, homely and solid 50-foot 4-cabin long-distance cruiser that's not done exploring the world. Built in 2008 for charter sailing, but escaped the hard life and has therefore only had 2 owners, including us, which is why this boat is also extremely well cared for and well maintained. Since its birth, the boat has been in the hall every winter and only sailed in German waters until the current owners bought it in 2022 and in 2023 made it ready for long-distance sailing. There is therefore also a long list of large and small upgrades and renovations, including a watermaker that produces 350L/h (2023), 1000 Watt solar panel on new targa bracket (2023), new 24 volt - 300 amp lithium battery bank (2023), Gori folding propeller (2023), installation of Fisher Panda 8KW generator, Bauer 140 L diving compressor at 230 volts and 5KW Victron inverter, coppercoat bottom paint (2023), complete Garmin navigation + hydraulic autopilot, just to mention some of the upgrades.
Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, Marengo is ready to set sail for new adventures. On paper, she can continue her journey around French Polynesia until May 2027.

Having sailed from Denmark to French Polynesia ourselves, we can guarantee a boat that can sail in big waves and rough weather, but also function as a home where up to eight people can sit around the table and sleep in a soft bed. You can pack a bag and start your adventure right away in a homey and well-functioning environment.
The boat is equipped with a large skipper's cabin with its own electric toilet in the bow. In addition, there are 6 berths in two aft cabins and a bunk bed cabin on the port side, as well as a toilet. The kitchen and saloon are located in the heart of the boat, where there is also easy access to a small workshop with space for all the things you will undoubtedly need sooner or later.
