Tifys 2 is a well-maintained Atlantic Magic 49 cruising yacht, built in 1996 built by Atlantiv (Gre) and designed by J & J and was an updated Atlantic 49 known as Magic 49 which encompassed many structural changes to hull and rig from the original Atlantic 49. Owned by her current custodians since 2006. Purchased in Athens and based in the Ionian for the past eighteen years, she has benefited from consistent ownership, careful maintenance and regular seasonal care.
The yacht has spent winters ashore in Aktio Marina under protective covers, helping to preserve both her appearance and systems, while summer seasons have been supported with occasional professional guardiennage through Vliho Yacht Club, Lefkada. This long-term approach to ownership is evident throughout the vessel, which continues to present well despite approaching thirty years of age.

Designed for comfortable cruising and extended stays aboard, Tifys 2 offers spacious accommodation with four double cabins, each featuring its own en-suite toilet and shower compartment. An additional bow crew cabin is currently utilised as valuable storage space. Her generous beam of 4.58 metres provides excellent interior volume, making her particularly well suited to family cruising, liveaboard use or charter conversion.

The hull has been professionally polished annually and remains in good condition, showing only minor cosmetic blemishes consistent with her age. Prior to launch for the season, the yacht will be antifouled and prepared ready for immediate cruising.

Power is provided by the original Mitsubishi 75hp engine, which has proven exceptionally reliable throughout ownership. The engine has been serviced annually, with the heat exchanger regularly serviced and descaled as part of the maintenance programme. Engine starting and domestic power systems are supported by a new engine battery and service battery fitted in 2025, supplemented by two 80W solar panels mounted on an aft gantry.
The yacht's standing rigging remains original and has been inspected annually. The genoa furling system received significant maintenance in 2020, including replacement foil bearings and furler bearings. The sails were replaced in 2019 by Alpha Sails and remain in good condition, providing a capable and efficient sail plan for cruising.

Ground tackle has been upgraded with a 25kg Rocna anchor fitted in 2022, offering excellent holding performance and peace of mind at anchor.

Domestic systems have seen continued investment, including a new calorifier installed in 2022 for reliable hot water production, a new domestic freshwater pump fitted in 2023, and two onboard refrigerators with compressor units replaced in 2021 and 2025 respectively.

On deck, comfort is enhanced by a new bimini installed in 2023 and new cockpit cushions fitted in 2022, creating an inviting and practical outdoor living area ideal for enjoying the Mediterranean climate.

Navigation and communication equipment includes GPS, Autopilot S7000, depth instrumentation, wind instrumentation (currently requiring attention), a fixed VHF radio at the chart table and an additional handheld VHF radio.
