Phantom – Goed onderhouden en compleet zeiljacht
Met pijn in het hart bied ik mijn Phantom te koop aan. Het is een complete en betrouwbare zeilboot waar de afgelopen jaren veel zorg, tijd en aandacht in is gestoken. De boot is zeilklaar en geschikt voor zowel dagtochten als langere vakanties. Dankzij de praktische indeling en de goede zeileigenschappen is hij ook uitstekend solo te varen.
Vaareigenschappen
De Phantom is een koersvaste en zeewaardige boot die prettig en voorspelbaar zeilt. Vrijwel alle lijnen zijn vanuit de kuip te bedienen, waardoor de boot eenvoudig alleen te varen is. Alleen de lijnen van de traveler, kraanlijn en reeflijnen (niet aanwezig, wel mogenlijk) van het grootzeil kunnen desgewenst nog naar de kuip worden geleid voor nog meer bedieningsgemak.
Zeilen
Grootzeil is aan vervanging toe, maar kan naar verwachting nog ongeveer een seizoen mee.
Fok verkeert in okay staat.
Gennaker verkeert in goede staat.
Ligplaats
De boot kan eventueel worden verkocht inclusief de vaste ligplaats in de Amsterdam Marina. De ligplaats is betaald tot maart volgend jaar, waardoor de nieuwe eigenaar direct van een mooie en goed bereikbare locatie kan profiteren.
Let op: als de nieuwe eigenaar de ligplaats na maart volgend jaar niet wil behouden, moet deze uiterlijk vóór december worden opgezegd om te voorkomen dat de ligplaats automatisch voor een nieuw seizoen wordt verlengd.
Ik heb dit besproken met de havenmeester en het is mogelijk om de ligplaats over te dragen, onder voorbehoud van goedkeuring door Amsterdam Marina. De haven wil vooraf graag kennismaken met de nieuwe eigenaar om er zeker van te zijn dat de boot niet gebruikt zal worden als permanente woonruimte of voor Airbnb-verhuur.
Tijdens de winter en zomer maanden heb ik zelf regelmatig aan boord overnacht. Hoewel de jachthaven dit officieel niet toestaat, is dit in de praktijk nooit een probleem geweest. De nieuwe eigenaar dient zich uiteraard aan de geldende regels van de jachthaven te houden....
Motor
De motor is technisch in goede conditie en heeft mij nooit in de steek gelaten. Hij start altijd direct en loopt netjes.
Elektronica
Aan boord zijn onder andere aanwezig:
Werkende snelheidsmeter.
Werkende dieptemeter.
B&G NetworkPilot-autopilot.
De autopilot is compleet aanwezig, inclusief display en hydraulische helmstokarm. Het display en de rudder feedback functioneren goed. De hydraulische arm is echter onverwacht gestopt met werken. Er is nog geen diagnose gesteld; naar verwachting betreft het een instelling of een elektrisch probleem, maar dit is niet onderzocht.
Onderwaterschip
Bij inspectie zijn enkele lichte osmoseplekjes op het onderwaterschip vastgesteld. Dit is besproken met een professional, die aangaf dat dit normaal is voor een schip van deze leeftijd en geen structureel probleem vormt of gevaar oplevert voor de komende tientallen jaren.
Onderhoud
De boot is de afgelopen jaren zorgvuldig onderhouden.

Samenvatting
Deze Phantom is een complete, betrouwbare en goed onderhouden zeilboot die direct het water op kan. Er zijn enkele aandachtspunten, zoals het grootzeil en de autopilot, maar daar staat tegenover dat de boot technisch goed onderhouden is, prettig zeilt en met veel liefde is verzorgd. Een ideale boot voor iemand die op zoek is naar een degelijk schip met veel potentie.

The Phantom is a seaworthy and course-stable yacht with predictable and enjoyable sailing performance. Almost all control lines can be operated from the cockpit, making her ideal for single-handed sailing. The only lines that could still be led back to the cockpit are the traveller line, the mainsail topping lift, and reefing lines (currently not installed, but easily added) for even greater convenience.
Sails
The mainsail is nearing the end of its service life but is expected to last for approximately one more season.
The jib is in fair condition.
The gennaker is in good condition.
Berth
The boat can optionally be sold with her permanent berth at Amsterdam Marina. The berth has already been paid for until March next year, allowing the new owner to enjoy an excellent and easily accessible location immediately.
Please note that if the new owner does not wish to keep the berth after March next year, it must be cancelled before December to avoid automatic renewal for another season.
I have discussed the transfer of the berth with the harbour master, who confirmed that it is possible, subject to approval by Amsterdam Marina. They would like to meet the new owner beforehand to ensure that the boat will not be used as a permanent residence or for Airbnb rentals.
I have regularly stayed overnight on board during both the summer and winter months. Although overnight stays are permitted by the marina until a max of approximately 200 nights a year, i have been here a lot more. this has never caused any issues in practice. Naturally, the new owner is expected to comply with the marina's regulations.
Engine
The engine is in good mechanical condition and has never let me down. It always starts immediately and runs smoothly.
Electronics
The boat is equipped with:
Fully functioning speed log.
Fully functioning depth sounder.
B&G NetworkPilot autopilot.
The autopilot system is complete, including the display and hydraulic tiller drive. The display and rudder feedback unit are both functioning correctly. However, the hydraulic drive stopped working unexpectedly. No diagnosis has been carried out yet, but I suspect it is an electrical or settings-related issue.
Hull
The underwater hull has a few minor osmosis spots. These have been inspected and discussed with a professional, who confirmed that this is normal for a yacht of this age and does not pose a structural risk or require urgent attention for many years to come.
Maintenance
The boat has been carefully maintained over the years.

Summary
This Phantom is a complete, reliable, and well-maintained sailing yacht that is ready to sail immediately. While there are a few points that a future owner may wish to address, such as replacing the mainsail and troubleshooting the autopilot, the boat has been technically well maintained, sails beautifully, and has clearly been cared for with great attention. She is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a solid cruising yacht with plenty of potential.
