RARE FIND – 1979 Silverline Nantucket 19.5 VC / 5.7 V8

A rare Silverline is now available. This is a 1979 Silverline Nantucket 19½ VC, equipped with an OMC 800 sterndrive and a 5.7-litre V8 engine. The 19½ VC was an original Silverline production model, and according to the 1979 factory specifications, it was available with 5.0–5.7 litre engines producing 231–265 hp.
As far as I know, I have not found any other similar boats currently for sale in the Nordic countries.
The boat was originally imported from California to Stockholm, and approximately six years ago it was brought to Finland.
???? Work carried out:
Longitudinal hull stringers replaced approximately 4 years ago
Transom replaced
Part of the interior renewed
Sterndrive serviced
New water pump, seals and bearings installed in the sterndrive
New exhaust manifolds installed on the engine
Cylinder heads rebuilt, including K-Line sleeves and other necessary work
⚠️ Current condition:
The boat still needs some work if the goal is to restore it to excellent condition. I lost interest in the project about two years ago.
During a test drive, two connecting-rod bearings spun in the engine, so the engine currently requires rebuilding.
The boat also comes with a self-built trailer, which has not been officially inspected or approved for road use.
This is a beautiful and genuinely rare American boat, ideal for a restoration project or an enthusiast. Boats like this rarely come up for sale.
