The Phantom 38 is a German-built cruising yacht designed by Heribert Streuer, with a solid GRP hull, fin keel and skeg-supported rudder. At 11.60 m length overall, 3.45 m beam and 1.70 m draft, the layout combines practical sailing characteristics with accommodation for extended cruising. The interior provides two cabins, one head, a saloon, a fully equipped galley and two refrigerators.

Propulsion is by a 2003 turbocharged Volvo Penta diesel rated at 32 kW, with approximately 1,590 engine hours and shaft drive. The yacht is equipped with an autopilot, navigation lights and a renewed 12V electrical system, including a new solar panel system. Her electrical installation and wiring were renewed during the 2025 refit.

The refit also included refurbishment of the interior, refinishing of the woodwork and cabinetry, repainting of the interior furniture, and sanding and repainting of the exterior. The sails were replaced in 2022 and have approximately seven months of use; the standing rigging was professionally overhauled in 2021. Deck equipment includes stainless steel pulpits and lifelines, while the cockpit is complemented by a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder.
