The Aquador 25C is for people who want to use the lake on more than just the sunny days. The enclosed saloon under the hardtop, with sliding doors on both sides and glazing all round, opens up into a fresh-air helm station on a warm afternoon and shuts out wind and rain two minutes later. That is exactly what the Finnish yard built this model for: northern conditions, long seasons, and families who do not have to turn back after the first shower. At 7.70 m LOA and 2.85 m beam, and licensed for 8 people, she sits solidly in the water yet stays easy to handle alongside.

Power comes from a Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi-D rated at 202 kW, around 275 hp, driving through a sterndrive. The GRP hull gets onto the plane quickly, holds a cruising pace without effort, and keeps enough in reserve to run back to the sheltered end of the lake when the wind picks up. A bow thruster is fitted, which turns berthing in a cross wind into a matter of seconds.

Below and inside, the Scandinavian hand is obvious. Two facing settees in pale cream, a teak table that lowers on its pedestal, varnished wooden soles and navy curtains at every window make a saloon you are happy to sit in with the door closed. The helm sits to starboard with a burl dash, a wooden wheel and an adjustable helm seat, and forward visibility through the large screen is clear. In the bow there is a V-berth with an infill cushion, and next to it a separate heads compartment with WC, washbasin and teak grating. Two roof hatches bring light and air into the saloon, while two solar panels on the hardtop keep the batteries topped up through the week.

The foredeck, side decks and bathing platform are laid in teak, and the bow and stern rails are stainless steel. Navigation lighting, a 220 volt shore power connection and antifouling are all part of the package. The boat is presented in well-kept condition with signs of use appropriate to her age, and the navy hull with its white superstructure shows no visible damage.
