An immensely strong classic, the Alan Pape 33 is a long-keeled steel cutter in turnkey condition. Built for singlehanded circumnavigation or high-latitude expeditions, it comfortably accommodates up to three people. A full renovation in 2020-21 prepared her for extensive voyaging, included rewiring, new expedition sails, updated electronics, enhanced safety gear, fresh paint, and revised rigging. A true go-anywhere vessel, she is safe, low-maintenance, and overbuilt-like a Land Rover of the sea. With a smooth motion in a seaway, she’s ready for immediate departure.
