Built by X-Yachts, this 1998 X 412 embodies the Danish school that blends racing standards with cruising comfort. Flying the FRANCE flag, the 12.50 m yacht has benefited from a sustained refit programme, with much of her inventory renewed between 2023 and 2026. Asking price: 119,500 € VAT paid.
Built for the sea
Composite hull, 12.50 m length, 3.10 m beam, 20 m air draft and 9,000 kg displacement: the X 412's proportions reflect a careful balance between stiffness under sail and pace in a breeze. The standing rigging was renewed in 2023, the running rigging (main, genoa and spinnaker halyards) in 2026, and the wardrobe includes a 2026 full-batten mainsail, a solent, a spinnaker with sock and a storm jib. A removable inner forestay and spinnaker pole round out a versatile sail plan.
Power and life on board
The YANMAR 3JH3E diesel on sail drive shows 600 hours, for a 6-knot cruising speed, 11 knots maximum and 2 l/h consumption, with 160 litres of fuel capacity. Below, 4 cabins and 8 berths accommodate 8 people, with upholstery renewed in 2024 in the saloon and forward cabin, a 2024 oven/cooker, an electric heads and a 60 L/h watermaker from the same year. Everything needed for serious voyaging.
