This Sturiër 500 CS is a rugged, solid, and comfortable steel motor yacht from the Dutch shipyard Volharding Staveren. The vessel has a robust, timeless appearance and is designed for a comfortable stay on board, reliable handling characteristics, and longer voyages on both inland waters and open water.

With its practical layout, solid build quality, and complete equipment, this Sturiër is a true all-season vessel. The double glazing in stainless steel frames, central heating via Kabola, and air conditioning throughout the ship ensure a pleasant stay on board, regardless of the season. This makes the ship suitable not only for summer cruises but also for comfortable use in the spring and autumn.

The saloon and wheelhouse are located at deck level and offer plenty of light, good all-round visibility, and a pleasant living space. The interior is warmly and neatly finished with teak veneer and beige leather upholstery. Below deck are the galley, dinette, forward guest quarters, and the centrally located owner's cabin. The guest quarters feature a spacious double V-berth and a private toilet. The owner's cabin features a freestanding double bed, a private toilet, and a separate shower, ensuring ample comfort and privacy on board.

The galley is fully equipped and fitted with all modern conveniences, including a 4-burner ceramic Bosch hob with extractor hood, a Bosch microwave/oven combination, an Isotherm fridge in the galley, an additional Isotherm fridge in the saloon, and a Liebherr freezer with four drawers. With these amenities, the ship is also very practically equipped for longer stays on board.

Propulsion is provided by two Iveco NEF 150 diesel engines of 150 hp each, coupled to ZF gearboxes and V-drive propeller shaft installations with four-bladed bronze propellers. For easy maneuvering, the vessel is equipped with hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, proportionally controlled via Hydronautica remote control. Additionally, the ship is equipped with stabilizers, contributing to extra comfort while sailing.

The equipment is also complete in terms of electrical and navigation. On board, you will find, among other things, a Mastervolt Whisper 10 Ultra generator, Victron inverter/battery chargers, ample battery capacity, and extensive Raymarine navigation equipment including chart plotter, radar, AIS, autopilot, VHF radio, and cameras. This makes the vessel ready for comfortable and carefree sailing.

On the exterior, the Sturiër features wide side decks, a teak deck, stainless steel guardrails all around with sliding steps, a spacious aft cockpit with bimini, cockpit cushions, a varnished teak cockpit table, and matching covers. The integrated swim platform with a stainless steel folding ladder and the electrically retractable mast complete the equipment.
