This yacht comes from a single, loving, and meticulous owner and presents herself in truly superb condition. All maintenance and service schedules have been scrupulously adhered to. "Avalon" has always spent her winters in a frost-free indoor facility.

With just 350 fully documented engine hours, her two magnificent Volvo D3 diesel engines are barely even broken in yet. Incidentally, in our opinion, the Volvo D3 is one of the finest engines Volvo has ever built. This silky-smooth, common-rail 5-cylinder unit was originally sourced from Volvo’s automotive division—back when the company was still under Swedish ownership. Regrettably, the conglomerate that now owns Volvo (under Chinese ownership) has discontinued this engine due to excessive production costs. A real shame...

The delightful couple who own this yacht are now heading into a well-deserved retirement, which they intend to spend on long voyages aboard a larger vessel. Consequently, "Avalon" is now being offered for sale.
