Die Vindö 40 ist ein schwedisches Design und wurde bei Nötesunds Varv auf Orust gebaut, dem Vorläufer der bekannten Hallberg-Rassy-Werft. Viele Merkmale stimmen daher überein. So verfügt das Boot beispielsweise über eine robuste Konstruktion, die zu seiner Haltbarkeit und Seetüchtigkeit beiträgt. Das Boot segelt daher sehr zuverlässig, auch wenn die Bedingungen härter werden. Dadurch ist das Boot für lange Reisen und Hochseesegeln geeignet. Mit seinen lackierten Holzaufbauten, dem weißen Rumpf und dem Teakdeck hat es ein charmantes und zeitloses Aussehen. Dem Deck sieht man die jahrelange Erfahrung an, aber es ist dicht. Der Innenraum ist gemütlich und schiffsähnlich. Wenn Sie das Schiff betreten, befindet sich an Backbord die Kombüse und an Steuerbord die Navigationsecke.
