Everything began in 2002. Two friends, Andy Stahel and Martin Dotti, also software developers and passionate sailors, founded boat24.com in Stäfa, a small town on Lake Zürich, in Zürich, Switzerland. Fuelled by their passion for boats, they created an online portal for used boats, which is currently undergoing a growth spurt incomparable to any other.
