ANATINA fu commissionata nel 1970 da un facoltoso yachtsman inglese al cantiere Solent Universal
Schipyards Ita con numero di costruzione 1661.
La barca è stata espressamente progettata per lunghe e veloci crociere oceaniche con materiali di costruzione pregiati, e rinforzi in acciaio inox nei punti di maggiore sollecitazione: chiglia, ordinate, tuga, ponte. Barca di altissima qualità, ricevette il riconoscimento della Croce di Malta 100Al e la sua costruzione tu eseguita sotto la sovrintendenza dei Lloyds. La barca è dotata di elica a passo variabile comandata con volantino interno comodo, facile e veloce .
Durante la costruzione il progettista Arthur Robb mori e la barca, in particolare il piano velico, venne portata a termine da Robert Clark.
Stazzata IOR 1° classe già dal 1971, ANATINA partecipò a regate nel Solent, ma sopratutto iniziò la sua navigazione d'altomare con numerose traversate toccando Islanda, Groenlandia, Canada, Stati Uniti, Caraibi, Venezuela, Brasile, fino a giungere in
Mediterraneo a Barcellona e infine Venezia, dove si trova attualmente. Durante la permanenza a Venezia nel 2009/2010 è stata aggiornata a nuovo di impianto elettrico, motore, generatore, riscaldamento, inverter, autopilota, salpa ancore tutta l'elettronica, alberatura e sartiame. La barca è stata completamente ristrutturata con sostituzione impianto elettrico ed elettronica della master volt, sostituzione motore, generatore, pompe , riscaldamento ,serbatoi gasolio in inox etc.. tutto nel 2016. Anatina ha fatto parecchie attraversate atlantiche. Ultimamente ha partecipato ad alcune regate per barche classiche con ottimi risultati . La barca è visibile a terra per rinnovo antivegetativa dal 17 giugno al 25.

The boat was specifically designed for long, high-speed ocean cruises, featuring high-quality construction materials and stainless steel reinforcements at the points of greatest stress: the keel, frames, deckhouse, and deck. A boat of the highest quality, it received the 100Al Malta Cross certification, and its construction was carried out under the supervision of Lloyd’s. The boat is equipped with a variable-pitch propeller controlled by a convenient, easy-to-use, and quick-responding interior steering wheel.
During construction, the designer Arthur Robb passed away, and the boat—particularly the sail plan—was completed by Robert Clark.
Classified as IOR Class 1 since 1971, ANATINA competed in regattas in the Solent, but above all began her ocean voyages with numerous crossings to Iceland, Greenland, Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Venezuela, and Brazil, eventually reaching the
Mediterranean in Barcelona and finally Venice, where she is currently located. During her stay in Venice in 2009/2010, she was fully upgraded with new electrical systems, engine, generator, heating, inverter, autopilot, windlass, all electronics, masts, and rigging. The boat was completely refurbished in 2016, including replacement of the Mastervolt electrical and electronic systems, the engine, generator, pumps, heating system, and stainless steel fuel tanks, among other upgrades. Anatina has completed several Atlantic crossings. Recently, she has participated in several classic yacht regattas with excellent results. The boat is currently in dry dock for antifouling treatment from June 17 to 25.
