English shipyard construction from 2008, designed by renowned yacht designer Stephen Jones. Traditional lines with influences from the Folkboat and Contessa 32, reinterpreted and implemented with modern technology. Suitable for cruising and family use with excellent sailing characteristics, safe and spacious cockpit, easy-to-handle 7/8 rigging, all lines led back to the cockpit, very good maneuverability, generous storage space, and very solid keel construction with deep bilge and bolted lead keel.
The boat is construction number 18 and in very good original condition. Around 36 units were built by 2024. There is an active class and owners' association. Further information on the class can be found at https://www.mystery35.org
The boat has been professionally maintained and serviced on an ongoing basis, temporarily at the Baltic Sea by the Heiligenhafen yacht yard. The current berth is in Largs on the Firth of Clyde, less than half an hour from Glasgow Airport. Mark Cameron, a broker in Scotland specializing in quality yachts, is assisting with the sale.
A brief history of our boat. We are German-British and moved to the north of England 26 years ago for work. We were originally H-boat sailors from Lake Constance, then we were looking for a ship suitable for families and cruising in the local waters, and so we stumbled upon the Mystery 35, built in Cornwall. It was love at first sight, so to speak. In 2008, we commissioned our Mystery 35, which was then exhibited in Southampton before delivery. We are parting with it with a heavy heart because the requirements for a sailing family change over time.
We are happy to provide further information in German, otherwise Mark Cameron is the competent contact person.
