Wir suchen neue Eigentümer für unseren Familienkatamaran Dorle, da wir ihm derzeit nicht mehr gerecht werden können.

Der Katamaran wurde 2005 fertiggestellt und seitdem regelmäßig in heimischen Gewässern oder in Kroatien bzw. an der Ostsee genutzt. Jährlich wurden anstehende Instandhaltungsarbeiten gewissenhaft ausgeführt.

Das Design von James Wharram wurde geringfügig angepasst:
Der Mast ist etwas höher als vorgesehen, damit sitzt das Großsegel etwas höher sodass man beim wenden mehr Platz zum Seitenwechsel hat und zudem eine bessere Sicht.
Der Decksaufbau an den Luken wurde etwas erhöht, sodass man besser darauf sitzen kann und es unter Deck etwas geräumiger ist.

Er ist segelbereit, zum Auf- und Abbau des Bootes gibt es Rollwagen, mit denen der Kat bequem an Land aufgebaut und ins Wasser geschoben werden kann. Auch Einkranen ist möglich.

Derzeit liegt das Boot trocken und gut verpackt auf dem Gelände unseres Segelvereins nördlich von Karlsruhe. Besichtigungen sind nach Absprache möglich.

Die Räder des Trailers drehen sich derzeit nicht, es kann sein, dass nur die Bremsen fest sind. TÜV müsste gemacht werden. Papiere sind alle vollständig vorhanden.

Trailer, Segel, Persenning und das Deckszelt sind Sonderanfertigungen.

Einen Preis anzusetzen ist schwierig, da sehr viel Kapital, Arbeitszeit und Liebe in unser Boot investiert wurde. Bitte kommen Sie bei Interesse auf uns zu, im persönlichen Gespräch beantworten wir gerne weitere Fragen.

We are looking for new owners for our family catamaran, Dorle, as we are currently unable to care for her properly.

The catamaran was completed in 2005 and has since been used regularly in local waters, in Croatia, and on the Baltic Sea. Annual maintenance work has been conscientiously carried out every year.

The design by James Wharram has been slightly modified:
The mast is slightly taller than originally planned, which raises the mainsail slightly higher, providing more room to change sides when tacking and also offering a better view.
The deck structure around the hatches has been raised slightly, making it more comfortable to sit on and providing a bit more space below deck.

The boat is ready to sail; there are dollies available for setting up and taking down the boat, which allow the catamaran to be conveniently set up on land and pushed into the water. It can also be lifted by a crane.

The boat is currently stored on dry land and well-packed on the grounds of our sailing club north of Karlsruhe. Viewings are possible by appointment.

The trailer’s wheels aren’t turning at the moment; it’s possible that the brakes are simply seized. It would need to undergo a TÜV inspection. All paperwork is complete and available.

The trailer, sails, tarpaulin, and deck tent are custom-made.
