Onze “Caresse”, is een Victoire 822 (bouwnummer 48), ontworpen door D. Koopmans sr. en gebouwd door de Victoria werf in Alkmaar. Deze boot biedt optimaal comfort en uitstekende vaareigenschappen. Onze boot is een langsbank uitvoering met een Volvo Penta MD7A 2 cilinder dieselmotor met saildrive en ondiepe 1.20 m. kiel. De boot is goed onderhouden. De "Caresse” heeft een aluminium mast en is uitgerust met zes zeilen, waaronder een grootzeil, genua, stormfok, spinnaker, halfwinder en fok. Het voorzeil heeft een rolsysteem. De kuip is ruim genoeg voor de hele familie en biedt mede door de buiskap voldoende beschuting. In het vooronder is een dubbele hut en aan stuurboord achter bevindt zich een loodskooi. In de salon zijn op de banken twee slaapplaatsen zodat er met 5 personen aan boord gevaren, en overnacht kan worden. De 13 Pk. motor, met klapschroef aandrijving geeft veel vermogen en doet het prima. De uitrusting van de boot omvat twee ankers, een buiskap,, huik, preek- en hekstoelen, een zwemtrap, kuiptafel, buitenkussens, zeerailing, stootwillen en lijnen. Deze uitrusting zorgt voor comfort en veiligheid tijdens het zeilen en biedt een gezellige plek om te ontspannen in de buitenlucht. Our “Caresse” is a Victoire 822 (hull number 48), designed by D. Koopmans Sr. and built by the Victoria shipyard in Alkmaar. This boat offers optimal comfort and excellent handling characteristics. Our boat is a long-bench version equipped with a Volvo Penta MD7A 2-cylinder diesel engine with saildrive and a shallow 1.20 m keel. The boat is well-maintained. The “Caresse” has an aluminum mast and is equipped with six sails, including a mainsail, genoa, storm jib, spinnaker, half-winder, and jib. The headsail has a furling system. The cockpit is spacious enough for the whole family and, thanks in part to the sprayhood, offers ample shelter. In the forward cabin there is a double berth, and aft on the starboard side there is a pilot’s berth. In the saloon, the benches provide two sleeping berths, allowing for a crew of five to sail and spend the night on board. The 13 Pk. engine, with a folding propeller drive, delivers plenty of power and performs very well.
