1939 Seefahrtskreuzer, EUR 175,000

Bei dem hier angebotenen Boot handelt es sich um einen Seefahrtskreuzer. Diese Klasse entstand 1927 um Kreuzeryachten unterschiedlicher Größe das Regattieren gegeneinander und gegen Rennyachten zu ermöglichen.

Das Boot wurde von Knud Reimers konstruiert, der damals zum Zirkel der renommierten Yachtkonstrukteure zählte. Gebaut wurde das Boot im Jahr 1939 durch das Industrieunternehmen Motola Verkstad AB in Schweden.

Der jetzige Eigner der „Carina“ erwarb das Boot im Jahr 2017 in mittelmäßigem Zustand. Daraufhin wurde das Boot von Juni 2017 bis Juni 2018 komplett restauriert.
Die Restauration umfasste den Austausch sämtlicher schadhaften oder verfaulten Spanten sowie der Planken der Außenhaut.
Ferner wurde das Totholz sowie der Kiel erneuert.
Hierzu musste der Ballast abgebaut werden. Im Zuge dessen wurden an diesem die maroden Kielbolzen durch neue ersetzt.
Daraufhin wurde der Rumpf mit einem Epoxidharz-Laminat überzogen, gespachtelt und mit Grundierungen und Lacken des Herstellers AWL-Grip lackiert.
Im Bootsinneren wurde die alte Farbe entfernt und der Rumpf von innen ebenfalls frisch lackiert.
Erneuert wurde auch das Deck. Hier wurde anschließend ein neues Teakdeck verlegt.
Ebenfalls überarbeitet und frisch lackiert wurden der Kajütaufbau sowie das Cockpit.
Auch der Motor erhielt eine Revision und präsentiert sich nun fast neuwertig.
Zu guter Letzt wurde noch der Holzmast überarbeitet und frisch lackiert.

Laut vorliegendem Wertgutachten für Boote und Yachten wurden innerhalb eines Jahres rund 1.200 Meisterstunden in die Restaurierung des Bootes investiert.
Zitat des Wertgutachters : "Herausgekommen ist ein würdiger Vertreter der KR-Klassen, der die ohnehin schon große Flotte an klassischen Yachten des Bodensees um ein weiteres Schmuckstück bereichert."

The boat offered here is a seagoing cruiser. This class was established in 1927 to allow cruiser yachts of various sizes to compete against one another and against racing yachts.

The boat was designed by Knud Reimers, who was among the circle of renowned yacht designers at the time. The boat was built in 1939 by the industrial company Motola Verkstad AB in Sweden.

The current owner of the “Carina” acquired the boat in 2017 in fair condition. The boat was then completely restored from June 2017 to June 2018.
The restoration included the replacement of all damaged or rotten frames as well as the planks of the outer hull.
Furthermore, the rotten wood and the keel were replaced.
To do this, the ballast had to be removed. In the process, the deteriorated keel bolts were replaced with new ones.
The hull was then coated with an epoxy resin laminate, filled, and painted with primers and paints from the manufacturer AWL-Grip.
Inside the boat, the old paint was removed and the hull was also freshly painted from the inside.
The deck was also renewed. A new teak deck was subsequently installed.
The cabin superstructure and the cockpit were also refurbished and freshly painted.
The engine was overhauled as well and now looks almost brand-new.
Last but not least, the wooden mast was refurbished and freshly painted.

According to the available valuation report for boats and yachts, approximately 1,200 man-hours were invested in the restoration of the boat over the course of a year.
