Arielle ist die 2. Scalar 28, die Rolf Steckmest im Jahr 1973 komplett aus Mahagoni Vollholz im Qualitätswerftbau individuell gefertigt hat. Sie versprüht den Chic der frühen 70er Jahre mit schmalen verchromten Fensterrahmen und dem Stockanker auf dem altweißen GFK Kajütdach. Ein echter Hingucker und in jedem Hafen heißt es "Was für ein schönes Schiff!"
Leider muss ich mich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen von diesem Liebhaberstück trennen. In den letzten 8 Jahren habe ich durch umfangreiche Investitionen die Yacht nicht nur in ihrer originalen Optik erhalten sondern auch mit vielen Neuerungen versehen.
Hervorzuheben ist dabei der Motor, Yanmar 15 PS, der 2018 eingebaut wurde, die komplette Erneuerung des Riggs mit neuen Beschlägen, die Grundsanierung und Erhaltung der Lackierung, neue Rollanlage und Genua, neue Polster, hochwertige Matratzen und vieles mehr.
Aktuell ist ein neues Großsegel beim Segelmacher in Arbeit und Deckaufbau und Rumpf werden wieder durch die Werft neu lackiert.

Die Yacht liegt im Werfthafen in Kappeln a.d. Schlei, und wurde in den letzten Jahren liebevoll und mit großem Sachverstand durch diese Werft teilsaniert und gepflegt. Sie befindet sich optisch und technisch in bestem Zustand und ist mit allem Zubehör segelklar.

Arielle is the second Scalar 28 that Rolf Steckmest custom-built in 1973 entirely from solid mahogany using high-quality shipbuilding methods. She exudes the chic of the early ’70s with her narrow chrome-plated window frames and the stock anchor on the antique-white fiberglass cabin roof. A real head-turner—in every harbor, people say, “What a beautiful boat!”
Unfortunately, for health reasons, I must part with this collector’s item. Over the past eight years, through extensive investments, I have not only preserved the yacht’s original appearance but also equipped it with many upgrades.
Notable upgrades include the Yanmar 15 PS engine, installed in 2018; the complete renewal of the rig with new fittings; the thorough restoration and preservation of the paintwork; a new furling system and genoa; new upholstery; high-quality mattresses; and much more.
A new mainsail is currently being made by the sailmaker, and the deckhouse and hull are being repainted by the shipyard.

The yacht is moored at the shipyard harbor in Kappeln a.d. Schlei and has been partially refurbished and maintained over the past few years by this shipyard with great care and expertise. She is in excellent condition, both visually and technically, and is ready to sail with all her accessories.
