1984 Paimpol et Fécamp Via 52, SEK 4,395,000
Her hull was built in 1984 but she was not commissioned until 2000, which means much of her equipment and installations are younger than the hull date suggests. She has only had two owners and is now looking for her third – someone ready to explore the world under sail. The VIA 52 model was created for long-distance voyaging and ocean crossings, with a focus on strength, seaworthiness, and long-term self-sufficiency.
The hull is constructed in marine-grade aluminium (AG4MC/5083) with 12 mm bottom plating, 6 mm sides and 5 mm deck, providing an exceptionally robust structure. Combined with five watertight bulkheads, this gives a very high level of safety. Thanks to her hydraulic centerboard she combines a shallow draft of just 1.1 m – ideal for exploring shallow waters and anchoring close to shore – with a maximum draft of 3.3 m for optimal performance and stability offshore.
Her rig was completely renewed in 2019 with extra-strong dimensions for maximum safety and durability on long passages. Together with well-maintained sails, twin rudders, and a proven cutter rig design, S/Y NINNA is both powerful and flexible in all conditions.
Onboard she offers everything needed for comfortable living at sea: three cabins with a total of eight berths, two bathrooms with showers, a washing machine, a fully equipped galley, and a bright and welcoming saloon. For climate comfort she is fitted with a modern diesel heater and a portable AC unit for use in harbour in tropical climates.
Self-sufficiency is at the core of her design. With 1,100 W of solar panels, a large AGM battery bank, twin engines with alternators, inverter, and a backup generator, S/Y NINNA has a powerful and modern energy system optimised for long-term off-grid cruising. Combined with 1,000 litres of water tanks and a watermaker, she is designed for true autonomy on extended voyages.
In short: S/Y NINNA is more than a yacht – she is a safe and reliable expedition vessel, ready to take her next owner on secure and comfortable journeys across the world’s oceans.
