Unsere Olsen, wir nennen sie nur Geisha :-), ist eine elegante, äußerst robuste und von hoher Qualität gefertigte Segelyacht. In der Jugend bin ich Jolle gesegelt und vor vielen Jahren mal mit und ohne Skipper mit Charteryachten. Dann sollte die Geisha der Einstieg für den Rest der Familie sein. Einfach schauen, ob es für uns passt. Und als Sichereitsfanatiker wollte ich es uns so einfach und sicher wie möglich gestalten. Der Mast steht auf dem Kiel und nicht auf Deck und ist somit besonders stabil. In der Plicht sitzt man sehr geschützt und hat eine hohe Rückenlehne zum Anlehnen. Das Großfall ist komplett aus der Plicht bedienbar. Ob komplettes Reffen oder erstes und zweites Reff, alles geht, ohne jemanden an den Mast schicken zu müssen.
Das Unterwasserschiff wurde jährlich neu beschichtet. Eine neue Badeleiter wurde vergangenes Jahr montiert (ausziehbar). Eine absenkbare Halterung für den zugehörigen Außenborder wurde vor zwei Jahren montiert.
Montage eines Plotters ist kein Problem, Kabelwege sind vorbereitet.
Wir haben uns jetzt vergrößert und trennen uns deshalb von der Geisha.

Our Olsen—we just call her Geisha :-)—is an elegant, extremely sturdy, and high-quality sailing yacht. When I was younger, I sailed dinghies, and many years ago I sailed charter yachts both with and without a skipper. Then Geisha was meant to be the gateway for the rest of the family. Just to see if it’s a good fit for us. And as a safety fanatic, I wanted to make things as simple and safe as possible for us. The mast stands on the keel rather than on deck, making it particularly stable. In the cockpit, you’re very well protected and have a high backrest to lean against. The main halyard can be operated entirely from the cockpit. Whether it’s a full reef or the first and second reefs, everything can be done without having to send anyone up the mast.
The hull has been recoated annually. A new swim ladder was installed last year (retractable). A lowerable mount for the accompanying outboard motor was installed two years ago.
Installing a chartplotter is no problem; cable routing is already in place.
We have now upgraded to a larger boat and are therefore parting ways with the Geisha.
She is currently moored in Stickenhörn, Kiel Fjord.
