The Ocean Star 51 has a 15.95 m LOA, 4.58 m beam and 2.50 m draft, with a lead keel, teak decks and twin wheel steering. Accommodation comprises four guest cabins arranged with the saloon, plus a separate crew cabin. The four guest heads include showers, and the crew area has its own WC and shower. Capacity is stated as up to 10 guests.

On deck, the yacht is equipped with a bimini, sprayhood, teak surfaces, a gangway, dinghy and Yamaha outboard. Anchoring equipment includes two anchors and a 1,200 W electric windlass.
