Historische Regattakatamaran JET 40 Multiplast
Der Multiplast Formula 40 / JET 40 gehört zu den frühen Hochleistungs-Rennkatamaranen aus der "Formula 40" Ära der 1980 Jahre. Er ist ein wichtiger Baustein in der Geschichte des französischen Offshore-Multihull-Rennsports. Konstrukteur ist Gilles Ollier, der die Werft Multiplast Anfang der 1980er Jahre gründete. Der JET 40 gilt als technologischer Prototyp für
zukünftige Hochleistungsmultihulls und war bislang das "Missing Link" der Multihull Evolution.
Aktuell ist der JET 40 aufwendig restauriert (nicht umgebaut), einsatzbereit und gilt als absolute Rarität und Unikat. Die Besitzer-/Nutzerhistorie ist anhand offizieller Dokumente (z.B. franz. Schiff mit Verwaltungsakte/dt. Schiffsregister) lückenlos belegt.

Der JET 40 ist trailerbar (Verkauf inkl. Trailer) und verfügt über 2 Aussenbordmotoren (aufholbar).
Die Ausstattung mit aktueller, individueller Navigations- und Bordelektronik obliegt dem Käufer.
Aufgrund des Umstandes, dass der JET 40" seit 25 Jahren nicht aktiv zu Wasser gesegelt worden ist, existieren nur historische Bilder sowie ein Eindruck des aktuellen Zustandes (zerlegt Lagerhalle). Besichtigung ist nach telefonischer Absprache möglich.
Der Kaufpreis kann auf der Grundlage eines Käuferangebotes verhandelt werden.

Historic racing catamaran JET 40 Multiplast
The Multiplast Formula 40 / JET 40 is one of the early high-performance racing catamarans from the "Formula 40" era of the 1980s. It is a key milestone in the history of French offshore multihull racing. It was designed by Gilles Ollier, who founded the Multiplast shipyard in the early 1980s. The JET 40 is considered a technological prototype for
future high-performance multihulls and was, until now, the “missing link” in multihull evolution.
Currently, the JET 40 has been extensively restored (not modified), is ready for use, and is considered an absolute rarity and one-of-a-kind vessel. Its ownership and usage history is fully documented through official records (e.g., French vessel registration documents/German ship registry).

The JET 40 is trailerable (sale includes trailer) and is equipped with two outboard motors (retrievable).
The buyer is responsible for equipping the boat with up-to-date, custom navigation and onboard electronics.
Since the “JET 40” has not been actively sailed for 25 years, only historical photos and an impression of its current condition (disassembled in a warehouse) are available. Viewings are possible by telephone appointment.
The purchase price is negotiable based on an offer from the buyer.
