CONSTRUCTION
Glouton est un ketch a bouchain dessine par Joubert-Nivelle, construit par le chantier META en 1998.Il a ete lance en 2001.Tres peu utilise par son premier proprietaire (40 Milles par ans en mediteranee),il a tout de meme ete tres bien entretenu (hivernage moteur professionel,entretien annuel). Rachete de premiere main en 2016,il a ete completement refait en vu d’un voyage autour du monde,par le passage du Nord Ouest.
12,88 m de pont (13,75 LOA),4m au maitre beau, 1,60m de tirant d’eau.
Le procede brevete “STRONGALL” assure la construction des plus solides navire en aluminium . Les toles d’aluminium epaisses( 18mm dans les fonds,15 mm premier bouchain,10 mm bouchain et pont ) sont soudees a chant,sans quasiment de membrures,ce qui assure une uniformite de coque et une rigidite structurelle.
C’est un quillard,leste de 4 T de plomb, avec le reservoir de gasoil de 600L dans les fonds.560 L efficaces et 40L de cuve de decantation.Le reservoir est visitable et parfaitement sain
Les specificites META incluent un systeme de tubes passe coques soudes dans les fonds remontant au dessus de la ligne de flottaison.Le systeme META de presse etoupe a bain d’huile est egalement un gage de fiabilite et de securite.
Le dog house a ete ajoute en 2017,construit par un soudeur du chantier META et approuve par l’architecte (bilan de forces).Il soutien les ecoutes de GV ce qui libere le cockpit.Les plexiglass sont de 15mm et permettent une excellente vision panoramique.
Deux matereaux ont egalement ete soudes a la poupe pour supporter l’eolienne,panneaux solaire et antennes GPS.Des renforts amovible sont ajoutes en traverses
Les fonds sont entierement visitables et sains,deux points de corrosion ont ete combles par soudure en 2017 par le soudeur du chantier.

Le greement dormant est en inox monotoron 1X19 surdimenssione (+ 1 mm) et les cables ont ete change en 2023 (etai en 2019).Cadenes et ridoirs sont de marque ACMO.Tout en tres bon etat.
Le greement courant est complet,en bon etat.Les drisses de GV,Genois et artimon sont en spectra.
VOILURE
GV ,artimon genois (110%) en “hybrid” (equivalent a l’hydranet ) faites en 2019 par CNV (St Laurent du Var).La triquette est en Dacron.

GREATLY
All masts and equipment are original Z-SPAR, and the mizzen has pushing spreaders. Both masts are equipped with echellons.
The standing rigging is in 1X19 single-strand stainless steel (+ 1 mm) and the cables were changed in 2023 (etai in 2019).chainplates and turnbuckles are ACMO.all in very good condition.
The mainsail, genoa and mizzen halyards are spectra.
SAILING
GV ,mizzen genoa (110%) in "hybrid" (equivalent to hydranet) made in 2019 by CNV (St Laurent du Var).triquette is in Dacron.
The 23.6 m2 mainsail is battened, with free edge, luffing on Harken carts.3 classic reefs.Lazy bag TBE.
Mizzen 12.4 m2 on sliders, 2 classic reefs, TBE lazy bag.
The genoa 43,7m2 is on a ProFurl C42 furler, reefed on the bowsprit.TBE

WETTINGS
The anchor locker is on the bow, separated by a welded aluminum bulkhead with a watertight inspection hatch.

COVERING

INTERIOR FITTINGS
The entire interior was stripped bare in 2018, with all wooden battens and veneers sanded, treated with 3M antifungal treatment and painted with epoxy primer.
The veneers have been changed to FOREX 10mm and FOREX 3mm veneer, and the new wood fittings (front cabin, rear cabin, workshop, bathroom, floors) are in 12mm exterior plywood, treated with antifungal and epoxy.
Thermal and acoustic insulation is provided by 50mm fire-resistant melamine foam, up to 40cm below the waterline.
The height under the center rail is 1.95m, and 1.85m in the passageway and aft cabin.

Large sail locker containing all mooring lines, fenders, diving equipment (1 x 6L bottle remains on board) etc.
Forward cabin
A 185cm double bed with a Bultex 12cm mattress plus memory foam top and open-cell foam bottom.
