Notes
2014 Maxus 24, EUR 35,000
The Maxus 24 is a modern and surprisingly spacious trailerable sailing yacht, perfectly suited for both novice and experienced sailors. This 2014 Maxus 24 combines excellent sailing performance with a comfortable interior, a practical layout and easy handling. Thanks to her light displacement, variable draft and lowering mast system, this yacht is ideal for flexible cruising on inland waterways, coastal waters and lakes throughout Europe.
The Maxus 24 was designed by Jacek Daszkiewicz and built by Northman in Poland, a shipyard well known for its innovative and high-quality trailerable sailing yachts. The model quickly became a European favourite thanks to its excellent balance between comfort, performance and transportability. With an overall length of 7.20 metres, a beam of 2.55 metres and a lifting keel, this yacht is easy to trailer and launch. The draft varies from only 33 cm up to 150 cm, allowing access to shallow cruising grounds with ease.
Inside, the Maxus 24 offers a remarkably spacious interior with accommodation for up to six people. The forward cabin features a comfortable double berth, while a second generous double berth is located aft. The saloon settees can also be used as additional berths. Thanks to the clever layout, modern wood-finish interior and abundant natural light, the yacht feels bright and welcoming throughout. Headroom measures 173 cm and increases to 185 cm in the lowered companionway area, which is exceptional for a yacht of this size.
Technically, this Maxus 24 is also well equipped. The Mercury F9 EL 4-stroke outboard engine provides reliable and economical propulsion. The latest engine service was carried out in February 2025. Navigation equipment includes a Lowrance Elite 5m GPS, Nexus speed and wind instruments, depth sounder, compass and a Simrad TP10 autopilot.
The yacht features a fractional rig with an aluminium mast and a stainless steel pivoting mast base, making mast lowering straightforward and efficient. The sail inventory includes a mainsail, furling jib and a 25 m² Elvström gennaker, allowing enjoyable and sporty sailing performance in both light and stronger winds. Combined with the stable hull, 30% ballast ratio and practical deck layout, the Maxus 24 is a safe and easy-to-handle cruiser for families, couples and single-handed sailors alike.
Additional equipment includes a refrigerator, electric heating, cockpit shower, shore power connection, cockpit table and a matching twin-axle Mecanorem trailer. The trailer is registered in Belgium and comes with a European CE certificate, allowing straightforward registration throughout Europe. This makes the yacht especially attractive for owners who enjoy travelling and exploring different cruising areas without being tied to a permanent berth.
If you are looking for a modern, complete and versatile trailerable sailing yacht with generous accommodation and excellent sailing characteristics, this Maxus 24 is without doubt a very attractive opportunity.
