Een bijzonder fraai zeiljacht, dat zelden in Europa gezien wordt. De elegantie van de lijnen valt elke liefhebber op. De bouwuitvoering is van hoge kwaliteit: kijk naar de rvs poorten, de teakhouten stootlijst in rvs, dekuitrusting en zeereling. Het interieur straalt klasse uit: de teakbetimmering is in uitstekende staat, hang- en sluitwerk als nieuw, de kajuit is uitnodigend en de kombuis is ook een heerlijke, ruime plek.
Al Mason is een Amerikaanse ontwerper die heeft samengewerkt met o.a. Sparkman en Stephens. Alden, Hinckley zijn namen die in vergelijkbare lijsten staan.
Mason heeft ook 43, 53 en 63 voets jachten ontworpen. Zij worden gebouwd op de Ta Shing werf in Taiwan en geleverd door PAE (Pacific Asian Enterprises) te Dana Point, California, USA.
Deze Mason 33" werd in 1995 aangekocht in Annapolis (Chesapeake Bay area) door een koppel dat haar naar Europa zeilde. Diverse oceaanoversteken, steeds goed onderhouden en enkele jaren geleden voorzien van nieuwe motor, zeilen, boegschroef, rolfok, ankerlier en bekleding. Sindsdien te weinig gebruikt, daarom bied ik haar te koop aan.
U merkt dat de apparatuur gedateerd is. Gaat de nieuwe eigenaar weer zeilen dan kiest hij up-to-date equipment, ik heb daar met de vraagprijs rekening mee gehouden.

A particularly beautiful sailing yacht, rarely seen in Europe. The elegance of its lines is striking to any enthusiast. The build quality is exceptional: note the stainless steel gates, the teak fender strip with stainless steel trim, the deck fittings, and the guardrail. The interior exudes class: the teak paneling is in excellent condition, the hardware is like new, the cabin is inviting, and the galley is also a delightful, spacious area.
Al Mason is an American designer who has collaborated with, among others, Sparkman and Stephens. Alden and Hinckley are names that appear on similar lists.

This Mason 33 was purchased in 1995 in Annapolis (Chesapeake Bay area) by a couple who sailed her to Europe. She has made several ocean crossings, has always been well maintained, and was fitted with a new engine, sails, bow thruster, furling jib, anchor winch, and upholstery a few years ago. She has been underused since then, which is why I am offering her for sale.
