A beautiful Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42DS is for sale—a solid and seaworthy cruising yacht. Thanks to its high-quality and practical features, it can be sailed even with a small crew or single-handed. As a flat-keel variant with a 1.6 m draft, it is also suitable for shallow waters, particularly the Baltic Sea. Its metallic gray paint job and wooden steering wheels, among other features, make this a truly special boat. The furling mainmast and furling headsail, along with the practical winch layout, ensure an enjoyable sailing experience. Good sails do the rest. When there’s no wind, the reliable and powerful 55 PS Yanmar engine takes over.

The very large cockpit, with a length of about 2.2 m and single seats at the stern, combined with the table, offers every comfort even while in port. This is further enhanced by the (very large) sprayhood (with an adjoining sun canopy), which was refurbished in the last two years, as well as the likewise refurbished bimini with wraparound side panels. Cockpit cushions are, of course, also included.

Inside, the highlights include the light-filled, spacious salon and the owner’s cabin, which spans the entire width of the boat (sleeping area: 2x2 m on slatted frames).
