2001 J Boats J/80, EUR 26,000

Te koop, een mooi exemplaar van de J/80. Een superfijne zeiler! Met Quantum 2025 (dus knispert nog!) grootzeil in CrossCut Dacron met één rif en leuvers aan het voorlijk en een Quantum 2025 J2 fok in tri-radiaal Aramide laminaat met zwarte film (Challenge Ultra Black Radial 10), drie verticale zeillatten. Verder twee genakers, bouwjaar niet bekend. De standaard/ kleinere blauw-wit, Belgische zeilmaker, de grote geheel wit van Quantum. Kortom: klaar om lekker sportief over het water te knallen!!!
Verder drie oudere dacron zeilen (twee grootzeilen en één fok). Met originele kussens en een op maat gesneden superfijne Ikea matras in de punt voor als je wat langer weg wil met comfortabel slapen. Groot- en fokkeschoten, grootval en diverse andere lijnen van 2025.

Met IJwitje heb ik drie seizoenen met veel plezier gezeild. Geen wedstrijden. Tenminste de vorige eigenaar en die daarvoor zeilden ook geen wedstrijden en waren net als ik zuinig op de boot. De lieren zijn netjes onderhouden. Komt met een groot blik anti-fouling wat genoeg moet zijn voor een nieuwe laag. Zelf ga ik voor een maatje groter, daarom komt deze J80 beschikbaar. Met prima betrouwbare 5pk (Mercury). Raymarine windmeter, log, kompas en dieptemeter. Drie-kleuren toplicht. Raymarine auto pilot/ stuur automaat. Met de nodige papieren, anker, landvasten, stootwillen en andere standaard dingen. BTW betaald. Vaak zeilde ik alleen, wat met wat handigheid fijn gaat met een J/80. Er zit geen trailer bij de boot. Heb je die nodig, informeer bij je lokale J/80 club of jachthaven. Vaak kan je er wel eentje lenen of voordelig huren.

With a Quantum 2025 (so it’s still crisp!) mainsail in CrossCut Dacron with one reef and leuvers on the luff, and a Quantum 2025 J2 jib in tri-radial Aramid laminate with black film (Challenge Ultra Black Radial 10), three vertical battens. Also included are two gennakers; year of manufacture unknown. The standard/smaller one is blue and white, made by a Belgian sailmaker; the larger one is all white from Quantum. In short: ready to tear across the water in style!!!
Additionally, three older Dacron sails (two mainsails and one jib). Includes original cushions and a custom-cut, super-comfortable IKEA mattress in the bow for when you want to stay out a bit longer and sleep comfortably. Main and jib sheets, main halyard, and various other lines from 2025.

I’ve had a lot of fun sailing “IJwitje” for three seasons. No racing. At least, the previous owner and the one before that didn’t race either, and—just like me—they took good care of the boat. The winches have been well maintained. Comes with a large can of antifouling, which should be enough for a new coat. I’m moving up to a slightly larger boat myself, which is why this J80 is becoming available. Equipped with a reliable 5pk (Mercury) engine. Raymarine wind gauge, log, compass, and depth sounder. Three-color masthead light. Raymarine autopilot. Comes with all necessary paperwork, anchor, mooring lines, fenders, and other standard equipment. VAT paid. The boat does not come with a trailer. If you need one, check with your local J/80 club or marina. You can often borrow one or rent one at a reasonable price.
